Pakistan Clinched seven wickets Victory over South Africa.

Magical spell of the Sayed Ajmal lead Pakistan to clinch a huge 7 wickets victory over world top test team South Africa.

Offspinner Sayed Ajmal was supported by pace bowler Junaid Khan (3-57) and spinner Zulfiqar Babar (2-51) as South Africa collapsed to 232 in the 2nd innings on the 4th day at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

This lead Pakistan to score 40 runs and there by leading the two match series to 1-0. South African Bowlers bowled exceptionally well where Pakistan lost the openers Shan Masood, Azhar Ali and Khurram Manzoor early in their innings. Senior batsmen Younis Khan scored 28 runs which helped Pakistan for their winning journey.

“It’s really unbelievable and a much-needed win for us,” said Misbah whose team was bowed down to Zimbabwe in the past test match on September.“It was a team effort and everyone contributed, especially the youngsters".
“Both openers and Zulfiqar Babar, they really did a tremendous job for us. I think everyone chipped in, especially with the bowling.”

South African captain Graeme Smith was extremely dissapointed for losing the game and quoted “We have set really high standards for ourselves, but credit goes to Misbah and his boys, right from session one, they have been ahead in the game and played better cricket. Even though we showed good character in parts, our skills were not up to the mark,”

AB de Villiers was the only man who played well for South Africa which avoided innings defeat. While Robin Peterson helped his team to delay their lose with 47 odd runs.
