Zimbabwe played their first Test match against India at Harare Sports club in 18-22, October 1992.Zimbabwe cricket is administrated by Zimbabwe Cricket formerly known as ZCU. Zimbabwe is the full member of ICC with ODI and Test status. Zimbabwe's early test records were very much weak that it was not able to give a competition in the world cricket. But on the early 2000, Zimbabwe was able to give a descent rivalry with the nations like Bangladesh, Kenya Ireland and other nations.
Currently Zimbabwe is ranked 11th in T20 format by ICC and holds no rank in Test cricket.
