Cricket Prediction | England vs Australia 3rd ODI prediction

By on 10:05

Even with the presence of Kevin Pieterson and Jonathan Trott, England could not able to give a hard fight against the mammoth total of 315/7 against Australia in the 2nd ODI at Leeds.

Opening the innings Kevin Pieterson played very well and came up with a half century. But his efforts along with Eoin Morgan and Jos Butler was not enough to take England near the victory.

The absence of James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann weakened England's bowling and batting attack as Ben Strokes, Steven Finn and James Tredwell are going very expensive.

On the other hand, Australia is looking very good with their batting as well as bowling attack. The confidence level of Aussies is up to the sky level as their brilliant success in the last match. The hero is of-course Michael Clarke. Leading Australia, Clarke scored a staggering 105 in the last game and got well supported by George Baily who scored 82 runs. Shane Watson and Aaron Finch did a well finishing job to take Australia to a challenging total.
