India won their second match against Zimbabwe.

Shikar Dhawan scored a brilliant 116 runs from 127 balls

Shikar Dhawan did it again! India was panicked at first by losing Rohith Sharma early. But Dhawan's blistering ton made India to score a mammoth total on board.

Zimbabwe winning the toss invited the champions to bat first. India realizing the opportunity, began to score at a rapid rate and scored 294 runs in 50 overs.Zimbabwe was only able to score 236 runs in their 50 overs.

Shikar Dhawan scored a brilliant 116 runs from 127 balls, which included 11 boundaries and 2 sixes. He was accompanied by Dinesh Karthik for the fourth wicket, when India's position was vulnerable to pace attack by Zimbabwe. The two players made 167 run partnership from 154 balls.On the last 10 overs Indian batsman scored 83 runs to take India to 294 runs.

Zimbabwe's response  to 294 runs went pretty well in the opening.But it didn't continued, as medium pace bowler Jayadev Unadkat attacked Zimbabwe batsman and took 4 wickets.Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza build a partnership of 64 runs and were able to strengthen their base for some extent. Sibanda scored 55 runs off 65 balls. But after losing Sibanda, Zimbabwe began to show their pavilion parade. They lost 5 wickets in constant intervals scoring only 24 runs. Elton Chigumbura(46) and P. utseya(82) fought well, but their effort was not enough to take Zimbabwe's score near the target.
