Ashes: Shane Watson's brilliant batting took Australia to a big score.

 Due to the brilliant batting by Shane Watson Australia  put a challenging score in the last Ashes test against England. The game is playing in Kennington oval stadium, winning the toss Michael Clarke chose to bat first.


At the end of the first day Aussies scored 307 runs from 90 overs.

Australia disappointing everyone in the last games, it seems they have decided to knock England this time. After 25 tests, 32 year old Shane Watson scored a wonderful century. The right hander scored 247 runs including 25 staggering boundaries and a sixer. Watson had scored his last century in Melbourne in 2009 against Pakistan. This is his first century after 3 years.After losing David Warner for just 6 runs, Watson and Chris Rogers build a wonderful partnership of 107 runs. Even after losing Rogers and Clarke Watson made Australia to stand firm in the game with Steven smith. The partnership scored 145 runs. Finally England bowler Anderson took Shane Watson wicket at 17 runs spare on the day.
